1. What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small text files saved on your device when you use websites. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) works in a similar way. Their use is governed by Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024: we may store information that is necessary for a service you use without consent, and anything else only with your consent.

2. Information necessary for the website to work

The website stores only the following information in your browser. It contains no personal data and is not used for tracking.

NameTypePurposeDuration
wf-cookie-consentlocalStorageremembers your decision on analytics cookies so we do not ask on every visit12 months (then we ask again) or until deleted in your browser settings
wf-calcsessionStorageremembers that the calculator result has been unlocked so we do not ask for your details again during the same visituntil the browser tab is closed
wf-exitsessionStorageremembers that the “Before you go” window has been shown so it is not shown againuntil the browser tab is closed

3. Analytics cookies (only with consent)

If Google Analytics is active on the website, its cookies are stored only after you click “Accept” in the banner. They are used to collect anonymous statistics: how many people visit, where they come from and which sections they use.

NameProviderPurposeDuration
_gaGoogle Ireland Limiteddistinguishing visits in statistics2 years
_ga_*Google Ireland Limitedkeeping the state of the current visit2 years

The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Using Google services may involve transferring data to the United States, as described in the Privacy policy.

The website does not use advertising cookies or third-party fonts, maps or videos that could set other companies’ cookies.

4. How to change your decision

  • When Google Analytics is active, you can change your decision at any time with the “Cookie settings” button in the footer. Withdrawing consent deletes the Google Analytics cookies.
  • You can also view, delete or block cookies and browser storage in your browser settings.
  • Refusing consent does not limit your use of the website.

5. Changes

We update this cookie policy when the tools used on the website or the law change. The current version is always available on this page.
